The Photodestination.com website is a web portal for photographers, explorers and general outdoor enthusiasts, to explore many of the great photo destinations in and around South Africa.

The website provides a directory of locations and their photographic potential, including top species that can be seen and photographed at each location. The website also provides news and views, information on local guides and much more. Every destination is georeferenced, making photodestion.com a very usefull and informative resource.

Photodestination.com is the brainchild of outdoor and wildlife photographer Arne Purves and the award winning photographer Peter Chadwick.

Photodestination has a strong environmental ethic, and through the power of visual imagery aims to create awareness around the challenges that our environment and planet in general is facing. It is hoped that through this initiatve a broader understanding can be created of the challenges we face, and the challenges our children will have to face.
